As part of our funding process, we will collect personal data in the form of contact details (which may include Name, Home Address, Telephone Number, Email Address, Occupation/Role – together the “Data”) to enable us to process and administer our loans and grants and/or where we are acting to administer or protect the legitimate interests of this charity.

We may share or disclose your Data to our employees and trustees, professional advisers and auditors (who in certain circumstances will also be “data controllers”) and any other recipients as may be necessary in line with our statutory obligations.

 

How long we keep your Data

Data relating to funding applications will be held during the application period and then as long as required in order to comply with relevant legal and financial requirements.

Data relating to other matters will be held as permitted by law as appropriate in the circumstances.

 

How we protect your Data

We won’t transfer your Data outside the UK and EU without your consent. We have implemented generally accepted standards of technology and operational security in order to protect personal data from loss, misuse, or unauthorised alteration or destruction. Please note however that where you are transmitting information to us over the internet this can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure.  We will notify you promptly in the event of any breach of your personal data which might expose you to serious risk.
